Ocean Care Project
School exchange partnership with the theme: “There is sea and sea … there is an entire ocean to take care of” wraps five countries with one school in each of them: Portugal, Estonia, Bulgaria, Turkey, and Italy.
Project idea
Our general objectives for this international project are:
- Operationalize some of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), defined by the United Nations, especially objective 14 — Protect marine life, and, of course, those linked to it: 12 -Sustainable Production and Consumption, and 13 — Climate Action;
- Develop the international / European dimension of the schools involved in the project;
- Improve students’ transversal skills: critical and creative thinking, interpersonal relationships, well-being, health and environment;
- Improve the communication skills in foreign language (English) of students and teachers;
- Develop and participate in citizenship projects at regional, national and international levels;
- Develop and participate in citizenship projects at regional, national and international levels;
- Establish an international network cooperation, between partners, for the sharing of case studies, developing a set of didactic tools;
- Involve and mobilize students, teachers, parents / guardians and families.
